Mayfield Middle School Scares Up Haunted House to Raise Funds to Help Eradicate Polio

The Mayfield Middle School Community is to be commended!  Through the hard work of administrators, teachers and a cast of students, $3,600 was raised by hosting a haunted house at the Middle School during the 2012 Halloween season.  At the November 20th meeting, the Hillcret Rotary Sunrise Club heard from Middle School Principal, Paul Destino, teachers, Sandy Bean and Kerry Rutigliano, and students, Austin Bean and Christopher Giancola, about the planning and teamwork that took place to design and host this most successful event.  A DVD of the highlights was also shown.

New Superintendent of Mayfield Schools and Hillcrest Rotarian, Dr. Keith Kelly, acknowledged the group for their creativity and dedication.  The club responded with a standing ovation!  We are all very proud of their amazing talents and generosity!
